After an extended winter break, our next meeting of the Castle Country Chapter of Utah Friends of Paleontology will be next Monday, February 10 at the Prehistoric Museum at 7 pm. I’ll be giving an extended version of the presentation I gave last week at NHMU’s DinoFest: Mosasaurs: Lizards to Leviathans in 30 Million Years.
I’ll introduce you to mosasaurs, talk a bit about my mosasaur research, and give you the first look at a couple of new mosasaur fossils from Utah.
We’ll meet beforehand at 5:15 at Club Mecca for optional dinner and drinks. For those of you outside of Castle Country, a link to the Zoom meeting is below.
