Advances in Western Interior Cretaceous Geology and Paleontology II

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management-Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Glen Canyon Conservancy, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, and Natural History Museum of Utah are inviting researchers to submit abstracts on topics related to Cretaceous geology and paleontology of the Western Interior of North America to the second Cretaceous Research conference in the BLM’s “Learning From the Land” series.

The meeting will be held September 24-26th in Kanab, Utah, at the community’s brand new conference center www.kanabcenter.com.

Special Keynote Speaker: Patrick Crowley, Producer of Jurassic World, Jurassic World – Fallen Kingdom, Battle at Big Rock, and Jurassic World – Dominion

Abstracts are due June 30th, are limited to 500 words, and should be sent to: atitus@blm.gov

The first conference was held in St. George in 2009 and resulted in the Indiana University Press volume “At the Top of the Grand Staircase.” A follow up volume for this meeting is planned.
