Registration Information

Early registration for the symposium ended at midnight Mountain Standard Time on March 17. The event registration price has now increased to $150.

The day-long field trip to Vernal and Dinosaur National Monument is $60 per person, including lunch.

T-shirt ordering has ended. There will be a handful of shirts for sale at the event for $20 per shirt. Those sales will be on a first-come, first-served.

The 7th Annual Fossil Preparation & Collections Symposium is pleased to announce that we have negotiated a special room rate with the Marriott University Park hotel, located at 480 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, Utah  84108 USA.

We have reserved a block of rooms for the nights of April 3 - 6. By mentioning the conference name when making your reservations on the phone, or by following the link below, you can book a standard king or double room for the price of $94.00/night.
To guarantee the special rate, you will need to book by March 13.

The Marriott University Park is by far the most convenient hotel for attendees of the symposium, as all talks will be held in the hotel ballroom, and the hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the Natural History Museum of Utah where workshops will be held. The hotel also includes a restaurant, Starbucks, and full-service bar.
