Dear UFOP members and friends:

The Castle Valley Raptor Chapter has begun planning this year's Annual Meeting. We want to get dates out to you right away so you can mark your calendars and plan ahead!! The 2011 Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday evening May 19 through Saturday, May 21 in Price, Utah. There will likely be field trip(s) on the Wednesday before and/or Saturday afternoon following the business meeting.

The 2011 meeting will have a theme entitled “Lagerstätten: Extraordinary Fossil Deposits”. We would like to plan varied field trips and talks around this theme to include invertebrates and plant fossils as well as dinosaurs.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum, and we look forward to sharing this milestone with all of you. We are excited for the opportunity to host an outstanding Annual Meeting for our UFOP associates and friends.
